I probably drink at least 3 litres of plain water, probably more if I have a session. Of course that's not counting food, tea etc. I just find plain water so delicious when thirsty even though it's technically tasteless.

I usually don't drink any water at all, only might on a very hot day.
I have a bottle of water by my bed and i have a good swig just before i go to sleep and immediately on waking. I then have a glass of water between my first two coffees in the morning. If i'm working, i take a water bottle with me and fill it numerous times per day - i have hyperhidrosis and sweat profusely, no matter how strenuous the work (i can work a sweat up pasting the first 3 drops of paper!). Then i have another bottle of water by my side when watching tv of an evening.
When i was in my teens, my dad used to say i was never away from the tap.
A friend with possible prostate problems was told by his doc to drink a litre of water a day with 1/2 teaspoon of bicarb in it. Apparently cancer "likes" an acidic environment so bicarb counteracts that.
I suppose a glass of ice cold water is delicious at any time
A lot less than I should and mostly with squash. Loads of plain water during hot weather though.

Can't stand the taste of tap water so I need to keep filling up the filter in my fridge dispenser. The filters aren't cheap either.
Water is too weak
None of water only for the most part. I get my fluid in other food & drink.
I rarely drink neat water; only in French summer heatwaves.
Sorry ttt, What The Funicular is plain water? Is this more cockney slang?
I think he means undiluted by squash or whisky or whatever :-))
Almost never. I can turn the tap on and immediately get a whiff of chemicals, so no thanks.
I stick with bottled sparkling water.
We get our water from Severn Trent .

The taste is good - no need to waste money on bottled water
Three litres used to be standard
720 ml is the absolute min

I saw the article and just thought 'oh'
4 bottles & a glass of red wine, oh I see it's WATER you're on about. I never touch the stuff, so said W.C. Fields, fish make love in it, (though he put it a bit differently)
I honestly couldn't say how much but since I was a kid... I've never being half an hour (Things permitting obviously) away from some water.
I always have a Glass of water with me when I go to bed even as a guest at someone else' abode.

Someone once suggested it might be an Aquarius thing as one of my brothers is exactly the same.
I only drink water to get my various meds down, three times a day, and never a full glass, barely half.
I too get my fluid in other ways.
An interesting article, but I am not sure it tells us anything. But thanks for posting.
I suspect most people drink when they are thirsty and that varies all the time. I am very active, so I probably drink more than average.
I try and drink a couple of large bottles a day in work since having renal colic.
I rarely drink water. Never, ever drink bottled water. It's taken straight out of the ground and just filtered, not purified. It lies around for months in warehouses. No thanks. I rarely drink tap water either. I don't trust the chemicals that are added to it. I'm with OG on this.
A lorra, lorra water - good for the complexion.
