morning all, i am awake rather too early, but the humidity has finally got to me. I hope that you have a lovely day, the forecast is glorious, so will either go to the local or to the gardens for an al fresco lunch.

Hi Emmie. An al fresco lunch sounds very civilised. I'm not expecting to go out anywhere today. The Electrician is coming at 08:30 to start doing his thing out the back so OH will be tied up with him most of the day. He'd better pop out and get some teabags as we only seem to have 2 left...

Little one has got a nasty cough again and as much as I want to comfort him, I'm genuinely afraid to go near him. This is one thing I hate about Nursery ... that and being patronisingly called "Mum" all the time.

i had lunch in the pub yesterday, it was without a doubt awful, the food is expensive for what they do, i left half of it.

The last thing you need is another illness, what can you do for the wee man....

I don't want to risk getting sick again, Emmie. As for little one he's been coughing during his sleep and it sounds like a painful cough with lots of gunk rattling around. I'll just have to dose him up on Calpol, there's little else I can do.

I'm sure he won't turn his nose up at a chocolate muffin later.

Sorry to hear about your pub lunch. There are some places out there that care not about reputation and are only interested in passing trade.

i can totally understand you not wanting to get ill, you have had enough of that already. its a shame that he gets these things at nursery.

i will grab a sandwich later or make one at home and dine out side.
its supposed to be a scorcher today and tomorrow.

trouble is i get stuck on the computer and start looking at clothes and shoes lately. As its early and no one is about, its addictive. I just bought some lovely boat shoes from M&S, coral colour lovely...

I popped into the store the other day for nothing in particular. I bought a lovely dress.

I got a bit carried away in Superdrug too and rather annoyingly didn't have my NHS ID on me for my 10% discount.

Morning, looks like a nice one out there - a raid on Trurra this morning and hopefully dodge the traffic streaming down to Falmouth....not too much sign of activity from here but there were internet problems yesterday mid-morning and early afternoon.

i am surprised that anyone can get any place in St Ives with this G7summit, i would hate to live down that way.

Not too much seen, they seem to have handled two protests well, one in Falmouth and the other St Ives.

I see even the Queen managed to get in on the act in visiting them at the Eden Centre (only a 50 mile jump from St Ives), she, Charles, Kate and one presumes William was somewhere - choppers all around as the Queen gets to count her troops today and then puts a cupper on for the Bidet and his wife, Doctor Bidet.
