The more books i read, the more i wanted to be an author. Alas, to date i have had one short story published and a poem.
Sam...my dads sisters and brothers worked on the buses, He used to come over for his holidays (being the youngest) and rode on the buses all day. They'd give him a pack of crisps and a bottle of pop and sit him on the back sit.

He knew more streets in this town than most Northampton born and bred.

it wasn't till my teens, but I thought being a travel writer sounded like my sort of job.
I loved those open back type busses ummmm, they screamed of character. They were cold, they were bumpy at times, but as a kid, that was where I wanted to work. What I wouldn't give now to be given a packet of crisps, a bottle of pop, be sat on the back seat, and enjoy a day out on one.
A nurse and a mother .
A dress designer. What a laugh. Started off in a shop, but did improve as I got older, and got better jobs
did that work out, anne?
Jno. Despite what one or two have claimed on here , it did indeed work out. I was / am very lucky . :-)
I had no idea then, and still have no idea..
61 and i still dont know what i want to be.
Never gave it a thought.
I wanted to be a lollipop man, because you don't start work until you're 65! :)
A ballet dancer!
Lol saintpeter.
When I was a child, I spake as a child, I understood as a child, I thought as a child: but when I became a man, I put away childish things
I only ever wanted to have my own house (to clean), with a husband and children. Achieved that but I’ve got a bit bored with it now!
I hardly like to ask when you became a man, maggiebee, there's already an irate thread about binary going on.

Glad to hear it worked out, anne. Honourable ambitions both.
An Air Stewardess.
A vet.
don't remember as a child but did grow wanting to be a journalist, sadly never made it..
