I was walking a path with Sammi that borders the park on one side, with pedestrian lanes branching off on the other. I saw an animal about 50-60 feet ahead in a bend. It was certainly bigger than a cat...longer legs, full tail. It looked back and ran off towards a grassy area. Sammi would have chased if he could.
Loads round here Pasta, there very urban now with the onset of the wheelie bin, they can’t forage for food like they used to which brings them further into towns and villages
There is a damn great hole in the lane at the back of my garden which is a fox's lair.First time I ever saw a fox in the wild was walking up in the Rhondda with my father years goneby. It was a magnificent noble looking creature. The town fox we get here are scrawny and full of mange. Flea and disease ridden. They cry like a young baby in distress all night and stink. yuk.
Quite a few near my block, including an almost black dog fox, and another who is more golden than red. Sometimes we see the vixens out and the cubs playing
Family of foxes live nearby, not quite sure where but they come into the garden at night. I usually put something out for them when they are feeding cubs.
The last time I saw a Fox was when the ex Mr pasta and I lived in Bedfordshire and we lived near the river Ouse. It was somewhat more rural than where I am now. :)
We get lots of foxes round here, and they are often seen during the day if the road is really quite. I don't think they're as scared of people as they use to be.
