Hi all,
After my hysteroscopy 3 weeks ago, a biopsy was sent off and unfortunately, it came back as endometrial cancer. I go into hospital early tomorrow morning for total hysterectomy.
One positive thing, I've been told it's a slow growing cancer, and provided it hasn't reached the wall of the womb, I should be ok. If it has, then I will have to have radiation treatment. I'm a little numb at the moment but feeling positive. Please wish me luck x

Hi all.
Was good by hospital a few days ago, that results of biopsy after hysterectomy came back. Stage 1b Grade 1. Which means the cancer has gone half way or more into muscle ( myometrium)
I've been told / advised, I will need radiation. Also, CT scan. Hopefully I will see specialist within 2 weeks to chat about it. Obviously disappointed, but needs to be done. I'm trying to stay positive. Do any of you know who have been through similar? Just looking for reassurance. x

Was called by hospital!
You are bound to feel disappointment but a positive attitude is the best way to approach any treatment.

I am sure others have been through this Patsy. xxx
I wish you all the very best of everything...…..I will pray for you.
Wishing you all the best for a good recovery, Patsy. Try and have something to look forward to, such as a good holiday.
How are you now Patsy? Xx

I'm ok. It all seems so surreal at the moment. I'm trying not to dwell on it and to keep positive.
Patsy Good you are feeling a bit better, but it will take time for you to recover from such major surgery. Do you have a local community nurse visiting you?
Good Luck Patsy and all the best for tomorrow.X
Positive thoughts are good thoughts, hopefully you will be in and out fairly quickly. X
