We're on the (7th) top floor here Theland, and if you go out onto the roof garden and look down then everyone looks like little ants / rats scuttling about, and himself said, because he hadn't been able to spend Thanksgiving with me and I'd ended up working at a soup kitchen so I wouldn't be on my own on Thursday, I could have a Black Friday super splurge, but he was like 'Hell we are NOT going out to do it' so we bought everything online and having seen the sheer animal behaviour of some people in the sales I can see why. I used to chase some material and career things assuming happiness, but now I want different things, so hopefully that's not me anymore, remains to be seen though. I just thought it was very accurate to what they try to sell us as a society x
