Happy Easter DT. Had hot cross buns for breakfast this morning. A lot of you seem to be having rain today, but it's dry, mild and sunny where I am - sorry !

Just had a hot cross bun here - with some orange and cranberry in it, then heated up in the Aga with a little butter melting in the split.

Happy Easter to all. Just back from hearing' a performance of Stainer's 'Crucifixion'. Terrific performance and sound from a choir of fewer than 16. It's getting cold and grey now, though. :(

Not familiar with much of it myself, DTC, but the 'Crucifixion' is quite often performed and bits of it will probably sound familiar.. Sir John Stainer b. London 1840. Very advanced music for the time, some of the dissonances must have been quite startling to early audiences. Organist at St. Paul's cathedral for a while.
