white figures blood pressure figure in brackets in white is the mean figure which is ok, Green figure is heart rate taken from the ecg trace. Blood pressure low side of normal assuming your son is average size/build. Nothing that would have made me twitch when I worked in ITU
I agree with rowan........all vital signs look normal.

Thanx rowan, he is down to 6.5 from 11stone in 6mts. He still spits foam & diarhea (clay color) 24/7. No definite prognosis after cameras up & down him.
Goodness me, Tambo, you must be out of your mind with worry.

Has he been travelling in the last year or so?
Question Author
No travels in last 2y but he loves curry, specially african.

He’s a funeral director, could he have contracted an ailment from a corpse, like hepatitus? Docs know his history but theyre mystified.
Most diseases that afflict humans don't survive long outside the human body and wouldn't continue to thrive in a cadaver.

There are diseases you can get abroad which can lay dormant for a few years, such as leishmaniasis.

However I'm at a loss to think what could produce such symptoms as you describe. I wouldn't rule out asking the opinion of the Centre for Tropical Diseases though.
Hello Tambo, shocking to hear about your son. Very much hope they are able to help him at hospital- it really is the best place when he clearly is unwell. The blood tests he will have taken at hospital should show something up? If not, is it an option to consider going private and seeing a specialist?
what other symptoms....?

From her travels, my daughter has been diagnosed with Lyme's and that can be very debilitating.....
Sorry, I meant to add, I'm sure you will have already, but make sure the medical staff know about your son's job. I know from experience that corpses can contain and transmit contagious diseases. Very best wishes.
Out of curiosity, what was your experience, Spungle?
Did I read somewhere that your son was a keen kayaker? Has he been tested for Weil's disease?
I am quite sure that the medical staff of the receiving hospital immediately log into AB, eagerly awaiting your diagnostic suggestions.
;-)
I can't help, but I wish your son well Tambo. I hope they can solve the mystery very soon.
They only log in when sqad is giving the diagnosis.. Best wishes to your son T .

Right.
Thanks for the feedback.

This is him when fit

Well something is wrong tambo.
Having just one kidney wouldn't explain the collapse or the symptoms that you have described.
Still a mystery to sqad.
He does not look well

:-(
