One of my big downfalls is I skip breakfast. I do try very hard to force down some toast or some cereal or some yoghurt but the truth is, I dont really like this stuff.

I do quite enjoy a continental type breakfast though with cheese and sliced meat.

Would the weight loss benefits of eating a continental style brekkie be better than none at all? I've got about 5 months to shift a stone and a half.

Hi pasta - I stopped eating with them when the things were in high chairs and needed feeding (himself was generally at work) they now know that I'm super fussy and that I don't want them getting my bad habits. They are all fab eaters and I only have to adjust the odd meal here and there to suit them all.
a wee tip actually - when they start to scramble - take them out when you see a little taste of milk at the bottom of the jug.

I have 'Crunchy Nut'
Me too Balders...but the kids are here and they've nicked them all..I forgot to get them today and I'm sitting here just fancying a bowl with icy cold milk :0(
Sometimes have porridge with lashings of golden syrup
milk?
in scrambled eggs?

Did you not see my reply JD?
Yes, I saw your reply. I have never made scrambled eggs in a frying pan, always in a saucepan. As to milk, I learnt this from my mother. For every egg she would add a dessert spoonful of milk 'to make it go further'.
Have a Continental breakfast...but don't eat ANYTHING after 6.30pm.
You soon get used to it and it works.
Never add milk.

Cheap non-stick frying pan because it will cool down quicker than a thick expensive one and the egg will not overcook ... the egg mixture has more surface area and cooks quicker. (Us a rubber spatula)

I do scrambled eggs in the microwave in a Pyrex jug - 2 mins.
Speed and cleaning aside, the main attraction is that it stays hotter for longer.
I will take your advice on board, Talbot, and let you know my results. Only thing is, the spatulas I've got are wooden. Will that make much of a difference or should I invest in rubber one?
Never add milk or a microwave when making scrambled eggs.
Definitely get a rubber one JD. you're cleaning the pan as you go.
I have always added milk to scrambled eggs. Only eat breakfast at the weekend and then it's toast and marmalade.
I add double cream to my eggs...do them in a saucepan on medium heat...stir constantly. Lovely fluffy, creamy eggs
Prudie
I have always added milk to scrambled eggs.

milk in scrambled eggs is sooooo 70's.
Loads of butter, no milk, don't overbeat the eggs, no salt until just before it goes in the pan (or just after.) Cook until slightly sloppier than you like. Wipe the pan clean with kitchen roll.
I don't beat the eggs at all, Shoota ... straight in the pan with them. Never put salt only black pepper on mine.

On some occasions I add a tad of nutmeg
Gotta have salt otherwise I begin to shake....
I've never had scrambled eggs cooked in the microwave, but it does sound simpler... going back to the OP lots... of greasy bacon, eggs, fried mushrooms, grilled toms the list goes on... musli is for rabbits.
I do hope that you lose the weight Xx
