Boris changes his spots every week. Brexiters pretend not to notice.
So, the Labour Party, as always, does the hokey-cokey. We've had, Labour, New Labour, Labour again, then Very Old Labour, and now Jeremy's, 'God Knows What' Labour.
// Jezza moves to the right //

He didn't actually say that. He said that Labour are stalking the NEW centre ground. The Tories have shifted from the centre ground under Cameron to a more right position. The inclusion of hard brexitters and the DUP in the Government means that the Tories have vacated the centre ground. That will inevitably leave some voters behind, and Corbyn dreams that he can get their votes.
So Labour have not shifted more rightwards, the Tories have.

No, but a snake can shed it's skin.

Gromit: "He didn't actually say that. He said that Labour are stalking the NEW centre ground. " - so if you are on the left and you move to the centre, what direction are you moving in? do keep up me old china!
Gromit; //So Labour have not shifted more rightwards, the Tories have.//

This isn't true at all, the Tories woes stem from attempting to move more to the left. What they should do, and as Jacob R.M. keeps saying is they should move more clearly rightwards to traditional Conservatism, they are at present giving out mixed messages.
Tora,
I repeat LABOUR are not moving to the centre, the centre is moving to them.
If the Tories have moved away from the centre (and most except Khandro think it has) then the centre will then be nearer to Labour than to the Conservatives.
no it can't, nor can Corbyn.
Khandro....."they should move more clearly rightwards to traditional Conservatism"

They tried that in June and Mrs May lost 13 seats and Corbyn gained 30.

I know we are not really allowed to mention Polls, but most of them give labour the lead over the Tories.

More to the point perhaps, is that Corbyn has a higher approval rating than May ::::

Emmie....a lead of 1% is neither here not there, and that goes for Labour as well as the Tories being in the lead.
according to the Times they are in the lead, sorry but it may be a small margin but its there nonetheless.
Emmie....if an Election was called in, say, 4 weeks time, who do you think would win ?

Naturally, you would want the Tories to win and I would want Labour to win. But I wouldn't be willing to place a bet on the outcome....would you ?
don't know, and unless something catastrophic happens we won't have another election any day soon.

"I repeat LABOUR are not moving to the centre, the centre is moving to them" - you mean hard left is now centre? Cobras gromit, Jezza is an old style socialist if he says he's trying to occupy the centre then he'll have to move to the right of where he is now.
TTT....if Corbyn is so horrid and lefty, why did he manage to get 30 more seats for Labour in June ?
I don't think he is saying he or the party is moving: the suggestion I think is that everyone else has shifted and this means that Labour is now in the centre.
Make of that what you will.

By telling lies to the young and inexperienced.
