I won't let it worry me.

sorry, when Rita from Corrie was lying in bed with bandages over her head I noticed her lobes were touching her shoulders. That's another thing we have to look forward to - Rabbit Ears.

No wonder my mother used to say "Small Ears are the Sign of Beauty" and so they are.

Couldn't read that link Mamy LOL
Charlie boy (aka jug ears) is in for a big problem then !
They do, the nose too apparently. I'm reminded of Lugs Wogan. :-)

I do have a few friends who haven't aged well and they do NOT see the wrinkles or the big ears. They deem themselves very attractive - NOT to me.

Question Author
Naomi - I am not letting it worry me either - just a comment.
Question Author
Err - didn't know who Charlie boy was - but do know who you mean now but ahm - he always did have big ears even as a kiddie.
Sorry, works fine here.
Question Author
Was Lugs Wogan - Terry Wogan.

I keep looking at my ears all the time LOl - as if they are not bad enough with a hearing aid in them.
Question Author
No Mamy - link works ok - just didn't want to come to terms with the article LOL
I hate my ears. I don't know if they've grown as I've got older, but I can't wear earrings now as they draw attention to my huge lobes. I want to have them chopped off, but that might be vanity gone a bit too far.
this must be very worrying for elephants
my ears are bigger but i just wear bigger hoops and i'm looking for a friend called noddy x
Is it because as you age you have less hair to hide your ears?
Q. Why do elephants have big ears?

A. Because Noddy wouldn't pay the ransom.

I'll get me coat
Maybe they are more noticeable because our skull bones shrink as we get older.
They grow as hearing fades with age. Wouldn't want to miss all the good chat now would we. :-)
Question Author
"hearing fades with age" - i must be a 100 now with my hearing loss. I only hear about 10 to 20 per cent even at that low bass sounds. Depend so much on lip reading but that can be hard to do. When I visit anybody at night (very rarely) I say to them to put their light on so I can hear (now isn't that an Irish one)
