hello
my pal has avery pain right buttock and the calf of his right leg
been to doc he suggested ibufrofen paracetumel
taking them for 2 weeks no results
anyone reccomend a strong pain killer
thank u for any help

He'd be best advised to return and tell GP it's not improving, he may get Physio.

pain killers just stop you feeling the pain (if they work), they don't actually cure what's wrong. Sometimes your body will sort minor niggles out by itself. This obviously hasn't happened to your friend. He should ask for further investigation. (And yes, he may be able to get stronger pain killers on prescription.)
Buttock and calf sound like Sciatic nerve problem to me. (Believe me, I know about this.) It usually clears up after a couple of weeks on painkillers. If it hasn't, there needs to be further investigation - may be a muscle twist/spasm and thus trapping nerve, or a disc has slipped a bit, same result.
