Yeah, right. I'm glued to my screen quivering with anticipation.
But what are you having for dinner Jackdaw?
home made veggie soup with home baked cheese and onion bread
I was lucky enough to eat out for lunch today. I had sea bass, new potatoes, green beans , baby tomatoes and peas, so tonight I will just have a mug of my homemade vegetable soup from my soup maker.

That all sounds lovely.
Sourgrapes Jackdaw?
Hospital food!
Lamb chops (medium for the mater and medium-rare for me) with some fries for the mater, steamed veg (baby turnips, baby sprouts, french beans and pak choy, maybe some peas as well) for both of us.

I'll find a wine, perhaps a Brouilly with it, a glass of chilled Falanghina wine as an apero.
Lightly poached unicorn egg, with real soldiers for dunking.

If Waitrose lets me down the it will be chilli with wild and basmati rice. Might have a nibble on some smoked mackerel pate and crackers first.
Feel for you Jack. I was in recently and didn't touch any of their food! I couldn't even eat the toast...

Tonight we're having Thai green chicken curry. Just hope he brings me back some ground coriander for my paste...
Don't know yet. Probably going to restaurant later. So will have a look to see what menu offers..
hope you are home soon Jack x
I'm really lucky my local hospital serves great food with lots of options to choose from. Very few disappointing meals.

Yes you were in hospital but you didn't behave in that manner Ummm.
Sorry to hear you're in hospital Jack. I hope you'll be feeling better soon. Good luck with the food! :-(
The grandkids are here for the week. So, roast chicken with pesto pasta, salad and garlic bread for them.salad and a jacket for us. Honeycomb ice cream and sticky toffee pudding for afters.

Eccles also can't complain about the hospital food in January - not many serve consommé and a good one at that.
It's my day off, so I refuse to do anything except put something in the oven. I'm having Tesco's dirty fries. OH can sort himself out.

I do love a fillet steak. Must have soon.
There having chilli, rice and garlic bread (apart from two of the most who are having spaghetti hoops and sausages - bleurgh). Don't know what I'll have, my appetite is particularly rubbish at the moment.
