..........I know AB'ers constantly have a "See how far this goes" topic, but have we done one about "who remembers" topics? I should think we have. What about posting your own memory? I'll start with; Who remembers Timothy Birdsall, the brilliant topical cartoonist who used to appear on TW3?. Very funny with his topical cartoons. Sadly, he died very young of leukemia. The memory doesn't have to be a person. Just something you specifically remember. Go on! Have a go!

My dad had a home telephone in the 50s for his wee market garden business. Our telephone number was 67960. Easier to remember than the one I have now.
I remember our first family holiday in the 70's to Benidorm. Then Benidorm was totally unspoilt and beautiful, not like it is today. And flying was a breeze.
Shron //And flying was a breeze. //. Surely they'd got past open cockpits in aircraft by the 70s.

Magaluf 1976 (well, Palma Nova). Lovely place.
I remember Zippy and George, they were hilarious.
Visiting my relatives in Wales . We'd go to the beach where they had huge sand dunes I used to hide in, with sharp grasses poking out of them. Then we'd go down to the rock pools with our little fishing nets and try and catch teeny fish, whilst my mum unpacked our picnic. This was the late 70s. Oh happy days.....
I remember getting hours of entertainment from this ... I was about 5
