I've reached a milestone on AB today in that I have had two of my answers removed. Quite rightly so, as I was rather scathing and not very helpful.

Perhaps I should stick to the quizzes and puzzles section.

Just for future reference, is it three strikes and out?

I think you have to serve a pennance, probably cleaning out the loos in Body & Soul
(answer removed)
having not been there, i do not know. however it is best not to take that chance.
No. You see lots of answers get removed for being judgemental. You're usually safe as long as you aren't nasty.
If that were the case I'd have gone years ago..................
So answers can be removed just because they are perceived as judgemental? Hmmm, wish I'd known earlier, but it's probably a bit late to do anything about that in retrospect. Never mind.

Tilly, I find it hard to think that you were being obnoxious. But maybe the mods are watching your every move and pounce straight away.

Thanks everyone. I'll try not to be so 'snotty' in future.
Kiki - not in general. It tends to happen quite a bit in law when people come for advice and get slated.

Today someone asked a question regarding a college course. Instead of answering the question 'some' turned into the spelling police :-)
It is not so much about the quantity of removed answers but rather the quality of those removed. Did your posts cause maximum offense, initiating any form of aggressive retaliation?

If not it is all rather pointless...

Hi, kiki-frog. Why would the mods be waching MY every move? That's scarey!
Is there a hit list?
Tilly scathing and snotty ?

Oh I've been in the shyte pot enough, Tilly, especially if I deem the question or point inane - I can become highly cynical too. Don't take it to heart!

Yes, Tony. I was.
Not at all, Tilly, it's just me being an evil wind-up merchant. Oh dear, I think I had better turn myself in to the moderators
tilly.
one can disagree or contradict with someone, or be negative without abusive language.
i have, on occasion been very diplomatic in my choice of language when making such points.
one of my axioms is ..... 'it it not what you say - it is how you say it'
Don't worry about it Tilly.
The Ed has a nice range of sack cloths, Tilly. I hear they are all the fashion

No, you didn't mention spelling. You mentioned literacy.
