What happens in Cape WRATH NOW ? Very strange ending last night? is there going to be another series as their are too many open endings hanging around to end it there? Weird or what

According to the boards on IMDB http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0865546/ it looks like it's been cancelled!
I wasted 7 hours of my life watching it and I really didn't enjoy it, the ending confused me too as if I remember correctly didn't Evelyn and Zoe drive out to a town in the first episode and Zoe bumped into a girl she knew? Was that faked and they were really still in meadowlands??!
Oh I'm really not bothered to be honest, it was an ok programme but I think it could've been written better than it was and I'm quite glad I don't have to sit through another episode trying to figure what was going on!!!
