If you were to unexpectedly get £2000, lottery win or inheritance for example, would you be sensible and pay off your debts/save for a rainy day or splurge the lot?

I think I'd have to have a holiday to escape the rain. But then again, I've been lusting after the new Samsung Galaxy tablet. Dang, my wife would want something......

A thermomix, good lunch out and maybe a wander round the shops with the change.

Chuck, I'm surprised at you. I thought you never paid more than £20 for your computers, didn't watch tv except on your pc and lived in your computer chair.

Amongst other things a thermomix will make you soup. Given how much they cost I would also like it to wash itself up and put itself back in the cupboard after having given the kitchen a good seeing to.

I'd send some to my fave charities, take family and OH out for a slap up meal and drinks and put the rest toward spending money for hols !
