After a day or so at Cheltenham, she was offered a 3-week course of Radiotherapy which would buy her "a little more time".

She decided she'd rather go home. We are gutted but must respect her wishes.

Thank you all for your previous kind wishes. X

I cannot imagine your pain and distress, be as strong as possible for her when you see her. All I can offer is cyberhugs. xxxxx
It's a decision about quality of life v quantity of life, and in her position I would probably make the same choice.
I agree with Hopkirk.........but that does'nt make it any easier on family.

Yes you must respect her wishes, and make what time is left memorable.xxx
Hugs NoM x
The time it buys her won't be 'good' time.

I really don't know what to say NoM, but I'm really feeling for you xx
Sometimes you get tired of trying NoM. Just be there with her. It's a hard life, without a doubt.

Sorry to hear the sad news.Thinking about you and your family. Enjoy your precious time together. And know that when the time comes she will be free from suffering. Sending you lots of hugs and positive thoughts for the future. Take care.
A wise decision by Nan.
Thinking of you NoMercy xx
have seen the effects of radiotherapy..think I would prefer to have some quality of life with family....so sad for you...
So very sad, but for the sake of 'a little more time', would the stress of radiotherapy be worth it? Your Nan evidently thinks not - a brave and wise choice. She sounds like a wonderful lady, and I can understand she must be very precious to you.

Thinking of you all. x
I must agree with everyone here, Nan has made the right choice, enjoy this precious time together as best you can, may her journey be a serene one, lots of love. ♥
