I was chatting to Buenchico last night on a nostalgia thread about the smell of a glue we used to have in the office in the 60s/70s. It smelt of almond essence and was so strong they eventually took it off the market due to glue-sniffing! It was in a plastic tub like coleslaw is sold in (think it was blue with a white lid) and had a little white spatula attached inside the lid. It was a solid white paste you could spread with the spatula to stick articles in books etc. I'm going mad here trying to remember the name ..... does anyone know please?

Copydex?

No daffy - its not Copydex, that is runny and still being sold today - thanks anyway. This was a paste, solid - you could stand the little spatula up in it.
Evostick?
Was it Cow Gum? I remember using something called that.
Affixofix?

Nope DT - not Evostick, I will know it when I hear it. Chris and I googled it and looked on Ebay last night but can't remember the brand name. Don't want it for any reason other than nostalgia, and it drives me mad if I can't remember something...............
