ooh tinks - I am a mega untidy. I have a big house so I can fit it all in. Organised in my mind but not in my habit. It doesn't bother me, I keep vital things in particular places, but not putting things away, etc., just doesn't fuss me.
I am very tidy, but my partner is awful!......he's been home for a few days and the house is like the blitz!............lots of work to do now he's gone away again!.........
Yep, VERY tidy!

However, I have two young children, so have to be!

I have a massive "spring" clean, every few months, and either bin or bag up everything we no longer use/need and give to charity.
This is usually toys, and clothes... both mine and the kids. (Clothes, not toys!!!)
I honestly can't stand clutter/mess, and I certainly couldn't sleep in a room that was messy or unorganised. I think, once a bedroom has been completely spring cleaned, you sleep better.

Get some music on, though probably not at this time, and get a few black bags.
One for rubbish, one for charity, and one for "keep"... then go from there.

My wardrobe is my main problem, as I have boxes and boxes of shoes, which I can't bear to part with!

Same flip. I sold loads on ebay a while ago....i was pretty ruthless....but i had to be....and its same again...

Its just closing in on me and i think its actually hanging over me! Spent more time at home recently due to being off ...i think u notice it more x
I think i'm a tidy person but my mum would argue otherwise. I suppose my room would look messy to other people but it is an organised mess. I know where everything is. I just like clutter I guess :-)
Oh definitely!

Now that I'm at home, pretty much 24/7, I notice how things "gather".
It's so much easier to be tidy and clutter-free, when you're out and about for most of the day.
I gather rubbish for 6 months then do a huge clearout and then begin gathering again. I am in the middle of carting stuff to charity shops at the moment(obviously not literally).
I'm very tidy but my bloke is tidier. I dont hoard alot anymore.
VERY tidy, though it annoys me at times. Would like to be more laid back but can't stand clutter. Junk mail never reaches further than the hall before it's put in recycling bin.

See i keep things that people give me ...invites, trinkets etc...mum dosent so she sees that as clutter but its special to me!

I wish i had more storage...think ill send some stuff up the loft .....oooh binbags at the ready soon...x
I'd say the exact opposite, flip - I make messes when I'm in the house, then go out to work and leave it.
I'm leaving all mine to my family -- a couple of skips should do it.!!!
Maggie - junk mail - take out first the part addressed to you, and shred it, nothing with addresses goes in our recycling bin.
