The Seagulls (as in our football team) are having a fab season.

The sea gulls (as in birds) don't actually exist.

Oh, I haven't been far, Balders. I've just been staying with my BF.

We had a couple of weeks in Barcelona, which was jolly.

I came home because I had tickets to see Samantha Fish in Soho on Friday. Then we sat and had supper in a little trattoria, while everyone looked at their phones, wondering what was going on in Paris.

And, obviously, this week is ...

Beaujolais Nouveau ... Woooooooo!!! ... Particularly jolly this year, as we are making a point of empathising with the French.
