Morning Doug, that sounds like a fairly decent itinerary.  It's always nice to start early and finish early.  I only get to do that on a Friday as its his day off and he can do the school drop-off.

Off on my weekly expedition plus getting the hair cut - 'Eeema' will be sharpening up her shears and making sure her oxy-acetylene cutter is ready....

Today is moving day for my mum and such. It's going to be long and hard but good at the same time.

That sounds splendid, Chip.  I can't wait until we get a new lawn.  It just looks like a mud flat out there.

Eeema is very good and gets it well layered - I still have a thick crop of hair to contend with even at this age and it needs proper layering otherwise it goes all 'spiky'.

That's exactly how I would like to spend my day - crosswords, Sudoku and reading.  Or a day at the Spa.  

I just keep telling myself that one day I'll be retired...

I used to do lots of crosswords and enter competitions.  I won £250 in M&S vouchers once, many, many years ago.  

 

It keeps the brain ticking over.
