Even though I'm not particularly religious and don't pray as a general rule - if I have ever been particularly worried about someone I love, or someone has been in danger and I've inwardly said "please God, look after them/ keep them safe..." - I always make sure, when that person is ok or safe or home that I then (inwardly!) say "Thank you God".
Is that silly for a lapsed Christian?!!

What do I never do? Pay the whole balance of my credit cards each month.... :-(
