FAO All Frankie's supporters. I've left a message on the original thread. He's snoring away in his basket just now. Love to everyone. Schutz.

Hi Nosha. Thanks for the link to Fidel the Literary Cat, he's so gorgeous, very like my Monte who lived to be 21yrs old.
Thank you too for the good wishes. Schutz.

Hello again Swedeheart. Thank you for thinking so much about Frankie. Although he has used his toilet, he hasn't yet done No.2, the vet said it could be up to 5 days before we see a result, because the food he's having is special high protein, and low residue, to give the join in the bowel chance to heal before it has to start working again. Frankie is sleeping most of the time, and seems comfortable, but not interested in being awake for more than a few minutes. I have to keep an eye on when he wakes to give him a small amount of food as often as possible, so I've already found out what hard work it is looking after an invalid cat. Will let you know how things progress. Love Schutz.
I was telling a cat loving friend about poor weeFrankie. We both agreed that we would be devestated if anything happened to our little ones.

Then I chirped up - "If anybody is going to kill Frankie (my Frankie) it is going to be me". I ought to engage my brain before speaking - but at two in the morning when the moron has fallen off the clothes horse and is screaming coz he got a fright I am less than loving towards him.

I am sure that it won't be long before your Frankie is driving you nuts too - a good sign that he is back to normal.

:-)
hi schutz so pleased to hear frankie is a bit brighter today, each day he will regain his strength a little bit more ,issy had some liquid sort of food from the vets like horlicks just mixed it with water to a paste then syringed it into her ,like you i got it everywhere she had horrible injuries to her mouth so it was so sore for her to eat ,she skips about on three legs fine now i bought all sorts to tempt her to eat but she was so fussy the other cats ended up with so many goodies when she finally did eat it was good old tescos own what she has most days ,lol, glad to see he is using his litter tray as she didnt pee for three days and didnt poo for over a week , i reckon my vet was fed up with me phoning up in a panic ,lots of cuddles to all ruth xxx

Oh!!! Wolf. Two in the morning, I'll bet you said a few choice words to your Frankie. What was Princess Merlin doing while this was all going on. A few smacks with her massive paws should sort him out. But that's cats for you, and we love them just the same. I could just imagine him howling the place down. :-) love Schutz.

Hi Ruth. That must have been such hard work caring for Issy when she had her accident. Aren't cats amazing how they adapt to life on three legs. Bless her. Thanks too for the cuddles, Frankie will get his when he's well enough. Love. Schutz.
Another nite nite , sleep tight to Frankie from Honey.x
I told you so! I'm so pleased for you and Frankie. I'm sure that little man's going to be well spoilt and looked after for ever more. Lovely news, I hope he continues to get better by teh day. xx
Sorry about the typo - rushing around after dinner! x

Thanks Brenda and Honey. Frankie is asleep now after his most recent little meal, and his tablets. Felix has just been up to have a look at Frankie, but seemed surprised to find him asleep, and has gone downstairs again. Funny things cats !!! love Schutz.
Bless you Schutz :-) Rooting for you + Frankie big time. Sent you an email earlier. Going to go up the wooden hill soon- need some Zzz's. Take excellent care of you please. Pray that Frankie is even stronger tomorrow. Night night + sweet dreams, your friend Bea :-)
Question Author
Icemaiden. So you did, and if I had taken notice of you in the first place I probably wouldn't have got so stressed out. I will let you know how he is when I get back from work tomorrow. I work just Wednesdays in the bookshop for my boss, and the rest of time I work for him from home. So tomorrow my husband is in charge, but I'll be able to feed Frankie and give him his tablets before I leave, and the same when I get back again. So husband only has to feed Frankie at lunch time, and keep an eye on him during the day, but I imagine I won't be able to concentrate very well when I'd rather be home with Frankie while he's poorly. I wouldn't like to let my boss down, as he is very good, unless it was a dire emergency. I'll probably survive, but be glad when it's teatime. love Schutz.
Pray that you will be strong tomorrow. Sure you hubby will take very good care of Frankie + that he'll be in verygood hands.
Gentle hugs, a very tired friend Bea :-)

Thank you Bea. I hope you get a good night's sleep. I'm off too very shortly, so I'll wish you sweet dreams too. Be blessed. Much love. Schutz.
Schutz glad to hear Frankie is sleeping lots, he needs to recover. Must be strange for the other cats. Hadn't really thought about that.

Well I hope they do catch the evil people doing this, they don't seem to have any regard for any living thing.

Thank goodness Frankie managed to get home.

Thanks Allykitten. Frankie is a bit better again today.

Hello Everybody, just got back from work, and husband has done a good job of looking after Frankie. He even managed to pick Frankie up and nurse him on his knee for about half an hour. And guess what, Frankie purred for the first time since last Wednesday (a whole week), so things are beginning to look up at last. Frankie is fast asleep again, and will be having his tea as soon as he wakes up.
Thank you, one and all. Looking forward now to Frankie's next visit to the vet, next Tuesday, 5th May, and hope he'll be much better by then. Will let you know any improvements. Love Schutz.
