I have just finished reading your thread with both tears of anger and joy at the support you have from the people on this site. I wish Frankie a speedy recovery, one of my cats suffered horrific injuries recently and is now almost back to full health xx
Hi Charisse. It's such a relief to have Frankie home, even though there quite a long way to go yet before he's completely well again. I'm so sorry to hear about the terrible injuries suffered by your cat, and very relieved to know that he/she is almost better again. Best wishes Schutz.
Wonderful to hear your good news at last, have been checking to keep up with developments, and so glad he's now safely home - a long way to go, still but he's in the best place and he knows you're with him.
Gentle [cyber] hugs all round from down under friends xxx
Over the moon to hear your good news Schutz- fantastic to have Frankie home with you both. Bless that little tomcat- he has endured such a nightmare yet now he is home with his loving owners + surrounded by angels + all the love of everyone who has sent him prayers + positive vibes. Still keeping him in prayer yet have a very positive feeling that he is well on the road to recovery. What a collosal relief for you Schutz.
Gentle hugs(i) to you, to hubby + to Frankie:-)(i)
Our dog sends his love to you all, too! Hubby sends you his kind regards, also. Warmest wishes, your friend Bea xx
Puss_boots. Frankie is a bit brighter this morning and has given himself a little wash and brush up. Thanks again for your good wishes. Love to you and to Boots. Schutz.
Seekeerz. Wow !!! Frankie will be thrilled to have hugs all the way from Australia. I'm saving up the hugs until he is well enough to receive them. Thank you so much. My husband is just giving Frankie a gentle stoke on top of his head, as that's all we can do at the moment. Will keep you updated on progress. xxxx Schutz.
Bea. It certainly is a relief to have Frankie at home. He's having tiny amounts of food (little and often, by hand). Thank you for the prayers, love and hugs, regards from your hubby, and your dog. Much love to you all. Be in touch soon. Your friend Schutz.
Schutz, so pleased to hear your good news. I was having a bit of a low day today and reading your post has really cheered me up. I bet you are really happy to have him home again.
Hey Schutz, how marvellous to hear that Frankie is now at home with you. I'm sure it will speed his recovery no end to be close to you and lapping up the all the TLC you'll no doubt be showering him with!
I know he has a way to go yet, but we're all rooting for him.
Afcjan love, I'm sorry to know you have been having a low day, so am sending you Lots of Love, and Hugs, to cheer you up. Hope you are feeling a bit better by now. And thanks for being there when me and Frankie needed you.
Much love. Schutz.
Hello again Aprilis. Thanks for the message, Frankie is still sleeping, which can only be good. He just wakes up a bit every now and then, to use his toilet tray, then a tiny bit of food, and back to sleep. He does seem a bit brighter in his eyes this morning. Will keep you posted on progress. promise. Much love. xxxx Schutz.
I've needed a pick-me-up today, having had some extremely disappointing news last night, and reading through all the posts on this thread has certainly had the desired effect, even though I'm man enough to admit that I've shed a few tears doing so, but, I hasten to add, tears of joy for Frankie, not at my own trivial situation.
Keep spoiling him rotten! (and the others, of course.)
Evening Schutz, it's great to hear that Frankie's looking a bit brighter and that he's been attempting to keep himself well-groomed, that's a good sign. And he's been using his toilet, that's good - he's done number two, even? (Frankie you must excuse my indiscretion!) I think of Frankie every day when I wake up and many times throughout the day and I'm sure that many of us who have posted on your threads do, so Schutz you have your work cut out for you during the weeks ahead, nursing and pampering Frankie and keeping us updated as you go...
Allykitten. Thanks. No news on the perpetrator yet, but have a bit more information from a girl in the next village, which as the crow flies is only one and a quarter miles away across the fields. She told me that they are having a lot of trouble in their village of youths with air-rifles, and she found a blackbird which had been shot, and it had then been impaled on a thorn hedge near her house. Evil is the only word for it. Will let you know if I find out any more. Schutz.
Paraffin. Sorry about your disappointing news last night. I hope it wasn't too bad. I certainly will keep spoiling all three cats, but Felix and Tansy can't understand what's going on, and they're both a bit unsettled, but getting plenty of fuss. Thanks for caring. Best wishes. Schutz.
