im thinking of getting a Royal Python, iv never kept a snake before so iv been doing alot of research. iv found out they arn't the best starter snakes due to a tendance for feeding problems but im prepared to give it a go and try my best. what most sources disagree on is the things to include within the viv. what are the best heat sources, how big should a hide be and if i should include a climbing branch. other that a water bowl/dish have i got everything?

please don't keep wild animals in captivity, thank you
all you hear mate is bo**ock! i got a baby royal 4 years ago, my second snake, but all snakes are different, my python didnt eat at first, he wouldnt eat dead pinkies. I think it comes down to the movement factor, snakes dont eat dead food in the wild, they hunt by heat and movement so, i thought id try live, perfect! now my snake is 5ft long, healthy and just a all roung quality pet!n so go for it if you find you cant keep it get in touch with me il have another!
