He really wants to do nothing, so it's purely a political exercise to try to garner a few more votes. It's shameful that politicians have so little integrity that they will act this way.

"Cup your hands"
Have you no hands to cup then

horrid creature, an architect of austerity that has caused hundreds of thousands of deaths in the uk and immiserated many more. he is a waste of skin.

How has he caused hundreds of thousands of deaths?

His con mates will be sitting behind him, and like normal nodding their heads like their have rubber necks, clapping and shouting here here while he dishes the peanuts out and takes the wallnuts. :0) I doubt they will be clapping the clapped out NHS that they chopped to bits since in power. While he hands out the peanuts there will be people passing away at home and in hospital due to the lack of local doctors, and hospital doctor who this charlie boy expects them to work 20 hour shifts for his peanuts. This mans actions of late throwing thousands away on his own self interests speakes volums about him, self self. Most millionairs throw their spare cash at many charities. A good example is Rod Steward, who supports hospitals with thousands of pounds for  people to have urgent MRI scans, and over the years has raised millions for charities performing for free. Take a look Mr Hunt, RS puts you to shame many times over.

//Most millionairs throw their spare cash at many charities.//

No they dont, some may do but not most.  At least not to any significant amount.

And none hand it over while they are still building their way in life.

12.45 How much more building ones life does a millionair need to build. RS supported others while building his.

Thats interesting I am not allowed to denigate the Chancellor or ask for plain facts to be used.

Oh well, AB back to its norm. I may popback in a few weeks then.

Why on earth is this on both Radio 5 the live channel you'd expect it to be on AND Radlo 4. Does that always happen

Not much rationality here. Hunt has caused thousands of deaths?

Hundreds of thousands ..... apparently.

so 2% tax cut is peanuts to nicebloke, nice to be so well off!

It's being so cheerful that keeps him going.

It's shameful that politicians have so little integrity that they will act this way.

Barbara Ca\stle was giving away pay rises of 30% in 1972 in order to win an election - I cant remember if she did or not

(problems in the seventies was chiefly stagflation)

Not much rationality here. Hunt has caused thousands of deaths?

Hundreds of thousands ..... apparently.  ( someone adds, er rationally)   - -  PP adds with a mad look on his face: "all babies! - all dead!"  c gurney leer

Itch, it depends on excess deaths. This is used as a metric for covid deaths because we know certification is so crap at this.

and so you look at the excess deaths BEFORE lock down

and then assuming lock down is a go-er, you look  at the deaths after lock down ( as the baseline) and then the difference is ascribed to the delay in lockdown - Hunt = baby killer

here hundreds of thousands of dead babies -  you read it on AB itch, it must be true !

time for the meds!

you can find the publication with references and supporting research linked at the bottom... the takehome is:

"The study adds to the growing evidence of the profound and deeply concerning changes to mortality trends observed as a result of UK Government economic ‘austerity’ policies. These have slashed billions of pounds from our public services and social security system with devastating impacts. Without support, people have been swept up by a rising tide of poverty and dragged under by decreased income, poor housing, poor nutrition, poor health and social isolation – ultimately leading to premature death, now quantified by this new study."

austerity has caused death and immiseration on a huge scale and hunt was a huge part of it. i don't think he deserves to be allowed even a minute of peace for what he has done. ghoul of a man.

You think hunt or any chancellor does what they do for the fun of it?
