As me and Pat - or Pat and me - or the both of us were discussing nonsense, I thought I'd add this nonsense "poem" for Halloween.
Hello Ian

As I warmed down a cumfly traim
so stiffly marmed with triel,
I marbled at the stainly horm
which lived by wetly streal.
“It be a hauntly horm that be,”
the oldy persils sayle
“and when the muel be outly fool
the phantly ghosters wale.”
So twar a darl and story nile
that set my bleed a trembly
and twere I never come here agraim
would be oncely tile too membly.

I'll muse upon thy mumbles, as my pot I stir

Nine toed slithery bumbles, all will go in there

A dash of hydra toxin, why dammit, a rabid loin

- I'll call you when it's brued.

Mamya (Cackling loudly)
Hi woodelf - I like it! Very Carroll-esque smile
Woody, are you Stanley Unwin in disguise? :0)
Mamya can't spell 'loxin' whatever it is - red face.
Very clever!
Ghosties, goulies, goblins an' gooks,
I'm no feart o' ye, so pit up yer jukes!
Very gibberish
Beware, we're fond of gibbers and giblets too - all mixed into a wicked stew.
Love it, Woody. What's more, i can actually understand quite a bit of it. Last night's Martell must still be having an effect on me :-)
The other day upon the stair' I met a man who wasn't there.
He wasn't there again today.
Oh how I wish he'd go away!
Its Halloween is it.Doesnt feel like it to me.Long time ago,me and a million other youngsters would wander the streets of Aberdeen guising. We had to do some kind of song or recite(usually dirty) a limerick before we got anything.I used to go home with a big shopping bag full of monkey nuts and sweets and often 5 or 6 ten bob notes. No guisers up here in Aberdeen anymore.Sigh.
Now childer are feart to step oot and guise,
There'll be ghouls aboot so mebbe they're wise.
Evening! We didn’t have a single trick or treaters at our house! : (
Or here, Smow. Mind you it was and still is raining.
I always put a poster on the door saying."sorry no halloweeners here"
It always works!

No guisers up here in Aberdeen.Quite a lot wandering about dressed up,but no youngsters knocking at the door.Presumably its all private parties and things.A lot of older peeps all dressed up,but heading to the pubs and nightclubs.Aah,well, tempus mores, mores tempus.
Weather was horrific all day but did stop this eve, still no joy tho. Never mind x
