Please or thank you, I'm sure some think they feel humble to say these little words.

Thank you all for your replies lol lol, Morn Tony.
It's "Enjoy" - like an army command that gets me...."Have a nice day" a second, but also I essentially agree about being polite. Sometimes you feel like saying "Bog off" when they don't include it.
Hi ya TWR, nice morning here. The big Yellow thing as made a rare appearance.
My daughter wanted my grandson to say please when he was asking for another sweet. She said what word have you forgotten? He said: "Now"

The last time I seen the UFO was last Wed when we left Cyprus Tony, It was in the 70s at Paphos. Oh well, back to the crp, Cloudy here this morning.
I agree that quite a few posters on crosswords or posters wanting help with homework fail to say please. I think the lack of thanks is sometimes because they don't realise they can reply on their own threads.

I say please and thank you automatically away from AB. Last week I found myself saying 'thank you' to the cash machine when it churned out my receipt!
Did you have a good time though TWR, bet your nice and Brown.

Oh yeah, I had forgotten about that ( their monetary problems ).
Having recently started using public transport more I must say I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of people who thank the driver when getting off the bus. Is this normal or does it just happen in Manchester?

i say it, and i have witnessed other passengers saying it too
No...it happens where I live. Rarely see someone getting off the bus without saying thank you.
