My cats queue up to use a clean litter tray. You can hear the thunder of many paws when word gets round that the tray is lovely and clean...... and if they don't manage to kick the litter out two of them scoop it out with a front paw!!!

and kick the litter all over your newly cleaned floor?

luckily, she doesn't do that, but only because she cant, we've got a covered litter box.

lol, yes probably Ed.

It's the smug look though, it's infuriating, grrrr!

Isn't the disinfectant attractive to cats? It probably just reminds them where they go so they then need to go.
Mm possibly .. they certainly love the smell of bleach. They'd be swimming in the toilet after I've cleaned it if I left the door open.
Eons ago cats were worshipped as a deity - they have never forgotten this.
My kitten always leaps in to have a go literally as I am taking the lid off to empty it... so then I have to wait another while for the business to dry up a bit before cleaning it out! She also dos it with a smug look on her face!
