Some people hide it and will not admit what they did but believe me, it is universal. I remember racing past a shop with fruit outside and nicking a plum on my way past. A small thing, but still shop lifting. I also remember going to the butcher's for my mother and adding a couple of pence on to the cost so that I could buy a cake in the baker's shop next door. Oh, yes, it is common to all. The main difference between you and me, is that I did not get caught and you did.
Do you know, I have never, ever shoplifted - not even the odd apple, or broken biscuit. Nuffin!!
That doesn't mean I am without sin though! ;o)
(When I was but 17 and after drinking quite a lot (yes we did back in the 60's) a group of us somehow managed to get into the locked local rugby club and raid the bar!!)
