it is not against against the Site Rules to post something "contentious" jackthehat. this is exactly the problem - you can obey the rules to the letter and get modded to hell and back anyway!

I think I have been pretty contentious my whole time here.....but within boundaries.

If everyone applied a 'self-edit' before they posted, fewer comments would be removed and there would be less bad-feeling (she says hopefully) in general.
