Could anyone shed some light for me please?

I understand there has been some tweaking done on this site re e-mojis etc. I noticed yesterday that a link I tried to send jenny joan would not work as a C&P. I have just tried to C&P a link re a lost USAAF F35 jet fighter from a Yahoo News article and again I cannot past the link. Am I doing something wrong as a result of a new format maybe?

I am using Chrome on my desktop and Windows 10.

Yes that's the news item I tried to C&P.

I also notice that there is double spacing between the lines of script I am typing.

To get a single line space while typing, use Shift+Enter - like this example,
so it's not like this

example.

I'm also on Chrome, using Windows 11. Links work OK for me, I'm unable to replicate the issue. 

Are you able to link to other websites?

On the first link just 30 people asking to able to use emojis.

On the second, 97 saying they would use emojis and 96 saying no.  Hardly overwhelming, is it?

I have now changed browser from Chrome to Edge for Answerbank and now appear to be able to C&P again. Very odd but many thanks for all the helpful contributors.👍
