I would as it can be difficult to convey the intended tone of a post. I often use :| :) and :D to try and put a bit of emotion in to a short sentence.

☺It would be nice to have limited emojis. I don't know what many of the FB emojis mean☻ but they would be handy to use to emphasise things like sarcasm.

There should also be limit to the number of emojis per post - some people get carried away.
