Could anyone shed some light for me please?

I understand there has been some tweaking done on this site re e-mojis etc. I noticed yesterday that a link I tried to send jenny joan would not work as a C&P. I have just tried to C&P a link re a lost USAAF F35 jet fighter from a Yahoo News article and again I cannot past the link. Am I doing something wrong as a result of a new format maybe?

KEN, it deletes the final word. It also deletes the first word if it follows the link but I added a "." before  the text I wanted and that worked.

I'm using an iPad on safari and can no longer copy and paste a link. Also double spacing. What can I do?

In fact when this new box appeared I could not post at all on my old early version iPad, so have had to borrow  my husband's

Perhaps for the next release the Ab IT "experts" (joke) can adopt the Beta Release principle.

 

I suppose I better define it, since I doubt they've ever heard of it. A Beta release is a new software version released as optional while the old release continues. People who embrace the Beta release then provide their feedback of errors for correction - these are corrected in Beta updates until the product is suitable to go live. There's usually enough volunteers for Beta releases to ensure the success of this quite common approach.

 

P.S Something else lost on the new box - it can't be extended like the old one, so when checking before publishing you have to scroll to and fro - a minor point, but do we have to go backwards.
