It's been peeing down heavily all day in London. Got soaked picking Little Tigs up from school even with the car and an umbrella going through the school gates.

Whats the weather been like where you are?

It's been peeing down heavily all day in London...
It rained when I left for London this morning. Got soaked twice. Got home and it's not stopped. The cat is miserable too.
Sunny and dull alternating, one short spell of rain. Wind is really picking up now.
We've only had a few very light showers here today in Suffolk (not even enough to deter the cats from going outside) but we've just started to get some 'proper' rain within the past few minutes.
heard on the radio earlier that London is supposed to get as much rain this week as it gets in the whole of June. Wasn't really paying attention, so may be wrong.

It's been lovely here, near Glasgow, 21.8 degrees, there are no some unfriendly clouds lurking.
Lovely here in Ireland.....sitting on the soon to be patio under the soon to be arbour....with a soon to be empty bottle of red....bliss.... :-)
starting to make a mess of the cricket, it is. Just shows the authorities' poor planning, they should have held the world cup last year when it was sunny.
Ok this morning, then rained all afternoon. Very heavy at times. Eased off a bit this evening. Supposed to rain all through the night. Where's our summer gone?
Yes, raining heavily all day....perhaps why no postman ventured out earlier. Just had a post delivery (three letters and two books) at 9.10pm! Can you believe that?
It hasn't stopped in London all day, not always seriously heavy, but constant. It wouldn't surprise me if we havn't had a months worth.
It's been really heavy rain all day here (Bucks) too. Have got soaked so many times today now, I've lost count.
We have put the heating on. It's only nine degrees out there and very, very damp. However our new water butt is filling up nicely.
Might I politely suggest that posts on this thread would be a little more meaningful if people actually mentioned their (approximate) location?
Fair point, buen.

I'm south cambs
Well at about 5am this morning driving from Portsmouth to Westonbirt it was really nice.

Then as I got to Swindon there was (quite literally) a wall of fog/mist. I thought it was a scene from a horror film where behind the curtain of fog there lurks a monster.

Once in Westonbirt it was cloudy and chilly up to about 12 noon when the heavens opened up. A short break ensued but the rest of the day up to 5 pm it *** down heavily. Then it cleared.

On the way home as I got further south the rain came down with a vengeance and is still going now.
Cassa - did you manage to find a camp-site?

sorry for off-topic
It's been hammering down in Dorset most of the day and non-stop this evening. I got caught in a cloudburst outside at work (in crop leggings, a shirt, light linen coat and open toe espadrilles). Got totally soaked and had to carry on working like that. I have been freezing ever since. I'm in socks, jumpers, long lounge pants and hugging a hot water bottle. Nothing is as bad though as the two grumpy cats on the window sill knowing they can't go out.
Just light showers in Leicester all day, but met office have yellow warnings in for rain till Thursday.
Oh, the really posh part of Cambridgeshire now then, Barmaid (rather than where you used to live, which was only 'Posh' when people were talking about football!)

I hope that Asbo is nice a dry now.

Pretty manky here in the West Mids.
