When someone like Talbot decides to leave should it make us wonder why?
Was he fed up with some of the posts and I include mine in this?
Did the infighting and bickering cause him to leave ?
Was it some of the rules that he didn’t agree with?
It’s sad to see a long time member leave whether you got on with him or not,

oh, a thread about Talbot. He said he left because of censorship. Apparently he posted a link to a video with a lot of swearing and it was removed. If you read the thread, it was fully discussed and the Ed explained.

From what little I can gather he posted a video in which people deliberately mispronounced Jeremy Hunt's surname to rhyme with a well-known expletive. He cannot have been surprised at its removal.

Thanks jno didn’t see I was to engrossed in my own post
I didn't see the thread which finally pushed him over the edge although I have been told what it contained. I am surprised that he was surprised that it was subsequently removed.

I know that he has been disillusioned with this site for quite some while. I hope that he and Twitter will be more of a fit..... :o)

Jack my dear can you please be more explicit what caused him to be disillusioned with the site?
Was it the rules the people or what?
Maybe if we knew we could do something to rectify it if it needs rectifying
the Ed will undoubtedly rectify anything she thinks needs rectifying, that's her job.
He’ll be back .
I think he's been missing Psybbo.......and she is cross with him for leaving...... x
Twitter is such a big pond, anne
It is jno ;’)
I'm really sad to see Talbot go, I liked him. The other threads all seem to be closed, so nobody can say bye even. But I hope he comes back.
I'm not entirely sure.......he used to moan quite a lot but that's pretty standard stuff from a Yorkshireman. ;o)

I think he enjoyed not having to censor his thoughts, or words, on Twitter and that, ultimately, became more appealling for him.
Yes, I don't know him off site and got the impression he was spending more time on Twitter, maybe it suits him nore, but it's a shame anyway.

Sandra thinks that there are a lot of hypocrisy in regards to some saying how much they will miss him, but I am saying it’s not a good sign when a member of long standing leaves, for whatever the reason.
Is it hypocrisy? I didn't agree with him 100% of the time, but that isn't dislike. I thought he was intelligent, funny and decent. It's good to have a range of characters anyway.
