Today's been lovely all day, Stephen.....really unusual. Makes such a change to garden at leisure and enjoy instead of rushing between showers and gales....x

Meant to be about 24C ( mid 70's )in the south in the next few days.....yeah, just in time for the usual rain deluge for Glastonbury weekend.....I'll find me wellies, take them up with me.:-)
It is a beautiful evening here. The sun is streaming in through the sitting room windows.

I have a glass of cold, Chardonnay spritzer and it seems a bit of a shame to follow it with burger and chips. :-0
Fecking freezing up here!!

a lovely bright and still evening here (cambridgeshire)
Where are you, Slapshot?.....not near an igloo are you? x
Twenty-seven degrees here in the Toronto area, and it's been in the low to high 20's for a few weeks now. Also, we've had a fair amount of rain but mainly at night...Just great weather.
Been lovely here too in the east mids, Beautiful sunshine all day - plants are flopping as they need a watering this evening, so that's the next job in a minute (first job went wrong - made a 'bung-it' and put the oven on too hot - melted the casserole dish handle & burnt a nice circle mark into my thumb from it - but the sausage stew was nice).
Just opened a cheeky red (ribena) and am off to source some trifle for pud

Look after my nephew at Glastonbury, Yogi......he'll be rolling in the mud....x

I love warm, balmy evenings......I once looked after an elderly neighbour till the night she died.....
At midnight we sat under my apple tree and drank a toast to her...it was so warm....almost hot.....
The family saying then became......still not had a night as good as the night Ivy died......

I'm off to find a spot in my garden to plant a Singer sewing machine...the old black hand machine.....
I like putting odd things in my garden.....trying to get one of the pink bikes from the Women's Cycling Tour that went through town last week....be lovely hanging on my black fence.....x

Stuey.....I remember it once rained in Calgary in August.....I went out and jumped in the puddles.....x
Its chilly and cloudy over here on the Norfolk Broads, but I'm enjoying the lovely long and light evenings nevertheless.
Your nephew will enjoy rolling around and trying to even walk in the mud, gnessy.
I'm not as young as I sometimes think and normally go arsenal over blue ***, or get stuck in it.

Oh, Yogi.....it was a weird night......another neighbour and I sat either side of her bed as she was dying.
She kept taking breaths...stopping...then breathing again....it was a long night...with her husband weeping in the other room.

When it was over the other neighbour said.....I'm so glad you were with me. You knew what was happening and what to do.

Yikes.....I said......I thought you knew and I was so glad you were with me!
Blind leading the blind......but it was right and peaceful......x
