Dual fuel?
Not really.
It depends. How big is the property?
Do you have a competitive tariff and pay by DD?
That sounds like loads - our gas last quarter was about £90 (and I have the house warm all day and night as me and thing 1 and 2 are at home during the day) and our hideous electricity bill was about £220 (and we have TVs, computers, electric cooker, x boxes on all the bloody time).

Yes, hopkirk.

Ummmm.. It would be significantly less if a certain someone didn't leave every light in the house on overnight and didn't keep turning the heating up to 30 degrees...
Without knowing about the property..... no idea.

It's not far off mine at the moment, which is the main reason that I'm moving soon.
That gas bill seems low, sherrardK- that works out at £1 a day.
I'm on a competitive tariffand we have been very strict with our gas but over winter I can't keep it below £2
Lights are nothing.... it's the heating at this time of year that's probably doing it.
Hi Factor - had a new combi boiler fitted in October and himself fitted our wood burner in December so I expect that these have both contributed to the low level of the bill (it also hasn't been that cold up until now round here).
The tumble drier is a big suspect too.
Hopkirk, I refute that - I use the tumble drier at least four times a week, and it makes very little difference to my leccy bills.
To be fair, anything that heats is something that you should cut down on if possible, regardless of the fuel used.
Well when I turn ours on, the new read out device I was sent says it is using 1.6 K.watts - on low heat.
We pay our bills by DD. Considering we haven't had any heating for 2 years we should be in for a rebate!
Blimey Ummmm - are you still not catching colds despite no heating?
Interesting hopkirk - of course it uses power, but I don't notice much difference in our bills if I stop using it (e.g. in summer).
Is that gas and leccy together? I got my gas bill in this morning £508, I nearly fell through the floor, then the barstewards had the cheek to show me a graph telling me I have only used a third of the gas that I used in the same period last year!
Are you on a level payment direct debit account, or do your bills rise and fall each quarter?
I'd s___t meself.
Did they send you the bill for buckingham palace???
