Slime Mould

This is growing at a fast rate on tarmac outside my back door & is very slippery to walk on. Other than cover the tarmac with a good layer of stones (very expensive) how can I kill it for good?

I have what has been identified as Slime Mould growing on tarmac outside my back door. It is very slippery & if I clear it, it just grows back. Any suggestions to what would kill it would be...
