getting a dog in a rented house

I rent my house via a private letting agency. The standard tennantcy agreement states no pets. The agency have done a couple of inspections in the past and don't seem to mention the large gerbil house...

Do you wash your hair twice?

Most shampoo instructs that we should wash then rinse then repeat. Is there any benefit in doing this twice? I generally don't but noticed they did at the hairdressers. Would genuinely like to know!
