why have my sweetcorn cobs not filled out? they are sweet and ripe but only half filled with kernels

Chimney sweep

How much room does a chimney sweep need to do the job? We have a log burning stove inset into the chimney breast with a small gap of about 30cm above where the flu goes into the base of the chimney....
