Vegetarian Dinner Party

Oiling Wooden Chopping Boards.

I have just I oiled my two wooden chopping boards with Ikea's SYDD. I hVe lost the instructions so I presume I just rub it in gently with a soft cloth and just leave them ? Does anybody do this ?
