Can peas (shelled) be eaten raw? My mum thinks that there is something dangerous in them that is destroyed by heating, so they must be cooked. What could this be?

Holiday entitlement for part timer

If a full time person was entitled to 20 days holiday, what would someone working 3 days a week (Mon, Tues, Wed) be entitled to? Bearing in mind Bank Holidays.
