she is opening the new railway today that is running through my village ...stopping mid route at the next village up to unveil a plaque...wonder if she would like to pop in for a cuppa ?
I would have thought a little coupe de quelque chose, minty.....
I would even share my Ferrero Rocher !
I can't remember a time when Queen Elizabeth was not on the throne. I am really pleased that she has now become the longest serving monarch. What an achievement and looking back at the photographs over the years, what a beautiful lady. I wish many more happy years for her.
Yes a very special lady who has spent almost 23,226 days and 16 hours in the service of our country, and that is not counting her service during WW2.
Congratulations Ma'am and many more of 'em !

Love your avatar aog ...
she has some way to go to overtake Sobhuza II of Swaziland
Really, jno?
He did have the slight head start though, being made King at 4 months old.

Congratulations Your Majesty!
Congratulations your maj
Mary was Queen of Scots when she was six days old. Sobhuza was obviously a late developer.
Well done to our Madge, her family is almost as bonkers as mine.
