Im confused. Why do people use this perfectly normal name to describe something thats rubbish? Its as daft as saying.... " TV tonight was Coat"!!

I call jeans and pants.. ya know, clothing you wear on your legs?? Thats want I only thought it ment, I have never herd it another way...lol

Thanks for all your replies re "Pants". I suppose it's each to their own but I fail to see the logic in using a garment to describe which I would call "Rubbish". My 4 now adult children never use Pants neither does my grandson.The last time I watched Richard and Judy (Months ago) he described something as Pants,silly man:-(
