if you see this on ebay

'Used O2 Mobile broadband Dongle Huawei E173 1GB'

take special note of the 1GB.

;-)

Do you expect a dongle without a sim, or one with a sim with 1gb?

That's not clear, I would message the seller and ask.

well i bought it, only to receive just the dongle and no 1gb as described!! message the seller and seller says they assumed i already had a sim..well why describe item as 1gb, why not just say the dongle only. I just wanted your opinion before i send it back, in case i'm being unreasonable. thanks
open an 'item not as described' case in the resolution centre. Don't send the item back without doing this or you may not get a refund.
send back as 'not described'

I have just opened a case via paypal as item not as described. I am not a happy bunny. I waited for this to come for over a week, they even took ages sending it. such a poor ebayer. I'm hesitant in leaving negative feedback, last time i did, i got emails of abuse, and ebay didn't do anything about it, no ban etc.
Question Author
It said bought and opened packet, but not compatible with the iphone device and also said 1gb, which i would think is data? and if it was used up, surely the sim would still be in there to top up, or seller would describe it without sim.
How much did you pay for it?
Question Author
£7 and its not much i know, but its made me mad that this seller mislead me.

Maybe he was not very techno savvy and got confused.
You would have been better off getting a mi-fi
Question Author
171500180870 item number
Question Author
mi fi...i will do that, but my hubby has this dongle for £15 per month and i cant change it without him, and hes too busy. I can only us this in the evening when hes not working.

phleb I think you are getting confused here.
"my hubby has this dongle for £15 per month"
If you think you can use the dongle on your hubbys account then you are wrong.
A dongle or a mi -fi has to have a sim card.
Sorry if I read this the wrong way but just trying to help
Why is that then methyl?
-- answer removed --
Question Author
methyl, i know it can expire after 30 days of non use etc, but i would know that if it had a sim in there in the first place, seller sent me the sim pack, but no sim, it had been popped out. Its just taking the mick this.
Question Author
6.80 inc postage to be precise, i put 7 becuase i thought seller might be on here and put two and two together, but who cares, seller is in the wrong, so i put item number on.
Question Author
high5 please read carefully, i am not getting confused. My husband has his own dongle (lol)ona rolling contract and he uses his on his laptop, i sometimes borrow his laptop to browse etc. I wanted to buy my own pay as you go, hence this one on ebay. I want mifi, but my hubby has to give up his dongle for us to get mifi and connect both laptops to it. (he is busy and wont go to change it) There would be no point in my husband having his dongle if i get mi fi. Why pay twice, with pay as you go, i know i wouldnt have to top it up every month if i dont use it.
