Anyone else watch Gogglebox last night? My heart was in my mouth watching those lovely balls of fluff come down from that cliff top. when their mother was calling for them.

Why so high, though? Just because your mother was on a high! Safe from predators? 20 metres would be high enough, but a cliff top, blimey!

Incredible filming wasnt it.
I think they said it was nature's way of thinning out the numbers,yes incredible filming!
It is marvellous what is going on round about us,of which we are unaware,talk about starting life at the deep end!

Geese & gosling nest disturbed by photographers! Left alone the goslings might have flown off when mature.

the prog shows how it was filmed and in no way were these birds disturbed
its in there nature to fly off at a few days old
If the chicks stayed on the cliff they would have starved as their diet is grass which was on ground level. Not sure why the parent birds did'nt feed them until they could fly down when a bit older.
