To motorists in Northants.......

When you drive up behind me as I overtake a parked car when I'm riding my bicycle.....wait please.

Take your turn....don't squeeze past and squish me into the parked car. Twice now in two days.

I am the most patient car driver I know.....but I am turning into a cyclist who, one day, will chase you with a cattle prod....and I will catch you up....☻

Chill......most cyclists and bikers are very visible now.....I wear flourescent pink.....do motorists not see us.....or .....or what....I don't know...choose to ignore?

I'm always lit up like a Christmas tree, fixed and flashing light at front AND back(in all weathers, conditions and times of day) and flashing red l.e.d. on rear of helmet.
High vis/white clothing when possible.
I'm still amazed at the amount of riders who travel in very dark clothing without lights.
You can get a set in Poundland.
Is their safety/life not worth a quid to them?

Mmmm....I might just put a little flashing Christmas Tree on the carrier at the back.......then they'd give the mad woman her space!...☺

if they get too close the best thing I've ever found is is to give the bu&&ers a kick with the metal cleats embedded in my cycling shoes... even the lightweight plastic roadie cleats make a lovely impression on thin car wings and doors... The ones Chilldoubt uses are even better... ;0)
