Sunday Roast

I`m just listening to the radio and the DJ asked "When was the last time that you had a Sunday roast?" I can`t remember the last time that I had one because I don`t fancy it during the summer. Now that the summer seems to have disappeared, is it time for Sunday roasts once again?

My mum always used to make sausagemeat and onion when we had a roast, to add meat to the dinner as she would get a small chicken. I still make it sometimes when we have a roast. It's yummy when the sausage meat goes hard round the edges!
